Business Administrator Apprentice

We have an exciting opportunity for business administrator apprentice to join our friendly and inclusive office administration team.

About the role

As an Apprentice Business Administrator, you will learn to provide a high level of customer service and administrative support within the company. This will involve a broad range of administrative tasks, including reception duties, email correspondence, setting up meetings, undertaking expense processes, inputting data, and general support to our small, inclusive and friendly business support team. You will be part of the team that provides day-to-day support to staff within the trading groups and to other department such as project support, marketing, finance and personnel as required.
This apprenticeship offers a great opportunity to work with diverse teams in a busy science and engineering environment and to learn business, project and administration skills that you could use in a variety of office roles beyond this apprenticeship.
While working as an Apprentice Business Administrator you will be required to complete a training programme delivered in-house. This programme takes from 12 to 18 months to complete with a typical business administration apprentice programme taking approximately 16 months. Our chosen apprenticeship partner is Maximus training and you will be working to complete a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.

About you

You should have, or be expected to obtain GCSE English and Maths grade 4 and demonstrate an enthusiasm and aptitude for the skills taught in the Apprenticeship. You will ready to take on the challenge of working with us as an apprentice.
