Graduate urban drainage modeller

We have a fantastic opportunity for a graduate urban drainage modeller to join our team of flood and water management experts.

About the job

You will help us to solve a wide range of water-related problems across a variety of technical areas: from drainage, flood risk mapping and management to water resources, dams and reservoirs. As you help us to deliver effective solutions to our clients, you will gain experience on international consultancy and research projects. You will work closely with our floods and water experts, and your career development will be underpinned by a programme of mentoring and training.

About you

We expect you to have:

  • a master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geography or similar that is accredited by a relevant professional body, 
  • technical knowledge and experience in drainage modelling (ideally including SuDS) using InfoWorks ICM,
  • GIS experience (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS), 
  • coding and data analysis experience (e.g. using R, Python, Ruby script, MATLAB, SQL), 
  • good attention to detail, record keeping, presentation and report writing skills,
  • a proven ability to work as part of a team.
