Can you help us to make waves around the world? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join our team and help us drive forward our thriving wavemaker, equipment and technology business.
As a specialist water-focused consultancy, we build and test scale models to help us explore developments in the coastal and marine environments and our facilities are some of the largest in the world. To support this work, we develop specialist equipment, software and instrumentation for our engineers and scientists, and we also supply these to other facilities around the globe.
Our Equipment, Technology and Innovation group – a multi-disciplinary team of mechanical, electrical and software engineers focused on developing and suppling this equipment.
We are primarily looking for an electrical biased engineer, but are willing to consider a mechanical engineer who can demonstrate competency in electrical design and control systems.

The role is multifaceted, with responsibility for delivering projects from concept through to delivery. You will take ownership of projects and manage them through all stages of the project lifecycle, including development of specifications and design solutions, procurement and commissioning. There will be opportunities for international travel, as you will be working at our clients’ sites to commission our equipment and train end users.
Innovation and customer focus are the keys to our success. You’ll work with the team on product development to allow us to continue to offer cutting edge technology, whilst also providing our clients with first class service.
