As a specialist water-focused consultancy, we build and test scale models to help us explore developments on the coastal and marine environments and our facilities are some of the largest in the world. To support this work, we develop specialist equipment, software and instrumentation for our engineers and scientists, and we also supply these to other facilities around the globe.
Join our Equipment, Technology and Innovation group – a multi-disciplinary team of mechanical, electrical and software engineers – and help us to develop and deliver our class-leading portfolio to international clients.
This is a new part-time position, and is a key role within our flourishing equipment manufacturing business. You will facilitate the procurement of 3rd party components and register goods in and out of the electronics workshop to maintain and control our stock levels. In addition, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining our Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to ensure accurate records. This will lead to the successful candidate reviews and identifying areas of improvement in the procurement and stock management processes.
