Press release: HR Wallingford has been awarded the accolade of ‘Specialist Consultant of the Decade’ based on its consistent performance during the economic ups and downs of the last decade.
Specialist Consultant of the Decade was one of several awards presented to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the prestigious NCE/ACE industry awards. A panel of ACE chief executive Nelson Ogunshakin, FIDIC president Geoff French and NCE editor Antony Oliver selected the winners.
The judges recognised HR Wallingford as “a true civil engineering specialist; the global go-to guys for practical solutions to complex water-related challenges” and noted that “the organisation's performance really peaked last year”.
“We are thrilled that our continuing success over the past ten years has been recognised” commented HR Wallingford’s Managing Director, Dr Jane Smallman. “We are particularly proud of the fact that we have managed to grow and increase profitability in the face of generally adverse economic conditions. This success is down to the efforts of our staff, and to the fact that we help our clients to achieve added value and costs savings. Key to this is a significant investment in our own research and development, ensuring that the solutions we offer our clients are at the forefront of technological developments.”
In addition to the NCE/ACE Specialist Consultant of the Decade award, HR Wallingford was selected as NCE/ACE Specialist Consultant of the Year 2013 in March 2013.
