HR Wallingford has agreed to a bilateral cooperation memorandum of understanding with Sutron Hydromet Systems Pvt Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary company of Sutron Corporation, Virginia, USA).

 Sutron provides hydrologic, meteorologic and oceanic real time data collection, warning, and control products, systems, software and services. The capabilities of the two companies are largely complementary for flow/flood forecasting projects and real-time water resource projects.

Dr Jane Smallman, HR Wallingford’s managing director, commented: "Working with Sutron will allow us to provide a full range of specialist water sector services in India, especially for flow/flood forecasting projects and real-time water resource projects".
