Sustainability Data and Reporting Officer

Part time: 32 hours per week

Due to our ongoing growth plans, we are recruiting for a Sustainability Data and Reporting Officer to assist in the implementation and delivery of HR Wallingford’s Sustainability Strategy; developing and applying new processes and procedures for data capture, collation, assessment, analysis and reporting.

You will identify, establish and collate the data required for monitoring and for reporting on HR Wallingford’s key sustainability performance indicators along with supporting and advising the QHSE Manager and/or the Sustainability Programme Manager through the application of the duties of this role. The role will be pivotal to the success of the Sustainability Strategy and Net Zero programmes.

Key Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., sustainability, environmental science/management) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of researching, collating and drafting content for sustainability reporting.
  • Good working knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel) and data management software.
  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills.
  • Ability to build effective and collaborative relationships with a diverse range of people at all levels of an organisation.
  • Proven credibility to persuade and influence.
  • Ability to take the initiative, find solutions and proactively drive progress
  • Outstanding communications skills, written and verbal.
  • Resilient, highly motivated, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • High levels of professional pride and attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT skills: Office 365, Adobe Acrobat.
