Ian Davies joins as Non-Executive Director
We are delighted to welcome Ian Davies as a Non-Executive Director of HR Wallingford Group.
Ian started his career in professional accountancy practice and has significant experience of chair and senior independent roles in business from start-up to fully listed, not-for-profit, and public sector appointments. He has recently stepped down from the role of Deputy Chairman of the BMT Group and Chairman of the BMT Employee Benefit Trust.
Ian joins us with significant Non-Executive Director experience and is currently a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant in England and Wales (ICAEW) Council, Professional Standards Appointments Panel, and National Technical Advisory Committee. He previously served on the ICAEW Board, Nominations Committee and chaired the Remuneration Committee. He is also a member of the Digital Resilience Advisory Board and regularly speaks at Cyber Security conferences and events across Europe.
In 2015, Ian formed a Charity Fair Ways Foundation which acquired a fostering and young person care company which has ranked, fifth, fourth and third in the last three years in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best NotForProfit Companies to work for.
