UK Ship Simulation Centre

Share

Our UK Ship Simulation Centre houses the latest evolution of HR Wallingford’s advanced navigation simulation technology: five real-time ship simulators including three ship bridges and two tug bridges, plus a vessel traffic service (VTS) simulator. Each ship bridge can also be used as a tug bridge if required, and the tug bridges as ship bridges. Each simulator's fully functioning bridge is surrounded by a 360 degree simulated field of view.

Our UK simulation facilities

  • Charlie - 360 degree view ship bridge simulator
  • Oscar - 360 degree view ship bridge simulator
  • Victor - 360 degree view tug bridge simulator
  • Romeo- 360 degree view tug bridge simulator
  • VTS simulator
  • Mike - 180 degree portable tug station
  • Lima - 180 degree portable tug station

We have a dedicated observation area for each ship bridge simulator, and a conference room with observation facilities.
