Chris contributes wide‑ranging financial, operational and governance expertise from senior roles across public, private and academic sectors. He supports strong oversight, risk management and long‑term planning across the organisation.

Biography

Chris has held senior finance and leadership roles across public, private and not‑for‑profit organisations in the UK and internationally. He currently serves as the Bursar and a Fellow of St Hilda’s College, University of Oxford, where he oversees financial management, operational leadership and long-term strategic planning.

Earlier in his career, Chris was CEO and Managing Director of organisations in the vocational education and corporate clothing sectors, leading business transformation, commercial development and organisational performance. He also acts in a non-executive capacity for several public and government bodies, including the House of Lords, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, and the Valuation Office Agency.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Chartered Marketer, Chris brings significant expertise in financial stewardship, risk management and organisational governance.
