What are the big challenges or new opportunities in your work area?
Ports are on the frontline of climate change, facing increasing pressure to enhance resilience, adapt to rising risks, and drive sustainability. At the same time, the transition to net zero is creating new opportunities — particularly through the rapid expansion of offshore renewables. This is transforming ports into critical hubs for the development and deployment of floating offshore wind, requiring strategic investment, modernised infrastructure, and a reimagining of their role in the energy system.
